The morning call out for Dublin Orderlies at 5:00 AM. They were headed out at 5:40 AM. It was still raining when the went out. It rained all night with strong wind gust. The morning started out dark, drizzle, overcast, breezy and cool – 50 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was cloudy, wet and strong breeze. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on, they tested their vehicles last night. No rabbits were on the soccer or baseball fields. The soccer and baseball field trails were flooded. As the sky brightened, all I could see was gray sky, drizzle with strong wind gust. Breakfast was served early, no wild life appeared after breakfast, inmates were dodging the rain so they did not leave any food for the birds. I walked in the training room on the treadmill away from the rain and strong wind. Started my laundry at 5:40 AM. Finished my laundry at 7:40 AM. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 24 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 24 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the exercise room until 9:00 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky, spectacular sun rise and full moon from yesterday. Opened my eyes to the ceiling of the training room. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was raining and cold in Pinole. She enjoyed the replay of the GSW/New York Knicks game. GSW will play the Denver Nuggets tonight at San Francisco. She walked 9097 steps, 16.9 inches step length and symmetry was 8.7%. Yesterday was the 396th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She will stay home today to keep dry and warm. I will be busy with GED tutoring, GED Class, ACE Classes and ACE Class Reports. I told her I completed a couple of ACE Class Reports and working on others. But I could not submit them until they reopen the computer room. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: tortilla, shredded chicken, Cole Slaw, apple and water. Had a short nap. One new inmate came off the bus from Victorville and they assigned him to bunk # 73U. GED tutoring 12:00-1:30 PM. GED Class 1:30-2:30 PM. The GED class was well attended as I covered applications of slopes and coordinates, practical applications to everyday projects. The rain let up a little around 2:00 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: chili, corn, rice, cheese, bread and water. ACE Classes Abraham Lincoln and The Civil War 5:30-6:00 PM and Culinary Art Part 2, Professional Chef 6:00-6:30 PM. I completed both the ACE Class Reports ahead of time. Census count at 7:00 PM.
