The morning started out dark but cool, in the 50’s. The rabbits were grazing in the field, Labrona and her juvenile rabbits were grazing by the basketball court. The dawn sky slowly emerged, clearing over the Sierras were filled with: Red, blue, dark blue and black sky. As the morning progressed, the analogous colors appeared: red, orange, yellow, light blue, blue and dark blue sky, dashed with a few layers of cirrus clouds over the Sierras. As the big Orange sphere peeked over the Sierras, it illuminated the clouds to cream color with golden edges, the brightened the sky and warmed the air. The rabbits left the field but Labrona and its family were still grazing by the basketball court. Walked 5.5 miles and jogged the final half mile.
