3/15/2024 Friday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 70 degrees F. Started walking at 6:20 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:30 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, muffin, apple and water.

- GED/ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM.
The morning started out dark but cool, in the 50’s. The dawn sky emerged with analogous colors radiating out on the sun’s path, the colors ranged: red orange, yellow, light blue, blue and dark blue sky. As the morning progressed, the colors grew lighter and brighter. The rabbits were grazing in the field, Labrona and her juvenile rabbits were grazing by the basketball court. As the sun emerged over the Sierras, the big golden sphere lit up the sky and warmed the air. All the rabbits left the field except Labrona and her juvenile rabbits. Finished walking 6 miles at 8:00 AM, in 1 hour 11 minutes and 52 seconds. Average walking times were: 11 minutes and 57 seconds per mile (milla) or 48 seconds per lap (vuelta). The morning walk felt good in the morning sunlight. Helped the commissary unload some merchandise and cleaned the shelves. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email form Doris: Doris is well and she slept well last night. This is our 36 th Wedding anniversary, since I am incarcerated, we will have to celebrate via email and telephone. She walked 7589 steps, 15.2 Inches step length and symmetry was 82%. Yesterday was the 53 rd consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. The cleaners are coming to clean the house today. Doris will be busy working on her new inventory for spring. Had a nutty bar, a peanut breakfast bar and chips for snacks. Showered at 9:10 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Called Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well and she is well rested. Today is our 36 th Wedding anniversary, we will have to communicate via email and telephone since I am incarcerated. We have been through a lot over the last 36 years and we are still alive and together. we hope for another 36 years together. I told her she should aim for 8000 steps daily to raise the bar. the dogs are well. Francis will probably change the batteries in the debarker during the weekend. The cleaners were at the house. The weather in the Bay Area was nice and i urged her to walk outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. She will be busy working in her sewing room on her apron designs and inventory for spring. I told her I will be busy with ACE Classes, GED/ ESL Tutoring and ACE Class Report – Stress and Your Body. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: Fried fish sandwich, spinach, pasta, Cole Slaw, an apple and water. Went to the sewing room to: Put away cleaned uniforms and blankets, repaired pants, exchanged 2-2X T shirts for Romo, exchanged 3-XL T shirts, 3 pair of socks, and 3 pairs of XL boxers for Bravo. Helped cleaned the commissary. GED/ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Good GED tutoring session. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Sloppy Joe, bread, green beans, salad, an apple and water. Completed the ACE Class report – Stress and Your Body Part 1. ACE Classes – Geography Mystic World – 5-5:30 PM and Wills and Trusts 6:30 – 7:00 PM. Census count at 7:30 Pm. Census count at 8:30 PM. Cleaned dup at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris is well and it is out 36 th Wedding Anniversary. Doris walked 7589 steps, 15.2 Inches step length and symmetry was 82%. The dogs are well. The house was cleaned. Walked 6 miles and stretched. Attended ACE Classes. Good GED/ ESL Tutoring classes. Completed ACE Class Report – Stress and Your Body Part 1.
