3/13/2025 Thursday daily dairy from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:00 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report. high temperature for today is 57 degrees F. Started walking at 6:00 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:30 AM. Breakfast menu: cereal, cake, milk, sugar, apple pure and water ( cereal, torta, leche, azucar, manzana puree y agua).

The morning started with call out for Dublin orderlies at 5:00 AM. They were headed out at 5:40 AM. It rained all night last night and finally stopped around 4:00 AM. The morning started out dark, cloudy, breezy, wet and cold -43 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was completely overcast and the strong breeze made the temperature colder. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on, they tested their vehicles last night. The trails and fields were flooded so I walked on the basketball court. No wildlife appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. As the sky brightened, all I could see was thick clouds and the walking trails were flooded. The birds appeared around 7:20 AM and feasted on food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:50 AM, in 1hour 14 minutes and 30 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 25 seconds per mile or 50 seconds per lap. Stretched and split stretched on the basketball court until 8:50 AM. Did not practice Yoga as the basketball was wet. The stretch felt good after the cold morning walk. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was drizzling and cold in Pinole. She ordered her grocery on line and cleaned the Altar. The cleaners are coming by to clean the house. GSW is playing the Sacramento Kings tonight. She was well aware of BOP scams and money for ankle monitors as they tried it on her last year. She will stay home to work on her Easter Inventory. I will be busy with GED tutoring, GED Class, ACE Class and ACE Class report. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:20 AM. Checked email from Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well and rested. She walked 9576 steps, 17.3 inches step length and symmetry was 7.5%. Yesterday was the 392nd consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. The GSW will play the Sacramento Kings tonight. She will stay home to keep dry and warm. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: baked chicken, green beans, sweet potatoes, bread and apple puree. I ate my lunch in the dormitory as the mass hall was closed. The lights at the camp was turning on and off all morning and finially stabilized at 11:00 PM. Had a short nap. GED tutoring 12:00-1:30 PM. GED Class 1:30-2:30 PM. the sun came out at 1:00 PM, but more clouds were rolling in. Worked on my ACE Class Report Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count.. Dinner menu: turkey, salad, potatoes soup, beets, cheese, bread and water. ACE Class Mastering Stage Presence 6:00-6:30 PM. Completed my ACE Class Report. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
