No call out for Dublin orderlies this morning as they expected rain. The morning started out dark, overcast, breezy and cool – 53 degrees F. Breakfast was served early, no wildlife appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on. They tested their vehicles last night. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the soccer field. As the sky brightened, all I could see was thick gray clouds some clearing were light green and light blue colors. Today was commissary day, several inmates braved the breeze to get their grocery. I did not get anything from the commissary. I walked the trail on the soccer field. The birds appeared around 7:20 AM and they feasted on food left by inmates and foraged in the fields. The sun rise was not visible as it was shielded by the thick clouds. Completed walking 2 miles and jogged the final 4 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 11 minutes and 12 seconds. Average walking times were: 11 minutes and 52 seconds per mile or 1 minute and 59 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:40 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and sun rise from yesterday. Opened my eyes to the dark and cloudy sky. I had to work extra hard to maintain my pose in the strong breeze. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. She did not have an asthma attack last night. I told her to keep dry and warm as it was raining in Pinole. She ordered her grocery online and it will be delivered today. She will clean the Altar and work on her Easter inventory. I will be busy with my GED tutoring, GED Class, ACE Classes and Class reports. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:20 AM. Checked email from Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well and rested. She walked 9466 steps, 15.6 inches step length and symmetry was 7.4%. Yesterday was the 391st consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. No GSW game tonight. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: hamburger, salad, potatoes chips, apple and water. Had a short nap. GED tutoring 12:00-1:30 PM. GED Class 1:30-2:30 PM. Worked on my ACE Class Reports. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. The pipe leakage in the mass hall was fixed. Dinner menu: pork, tortilla, rice, corn, beans and water. ACE Classes The Great Depression 5:30-6:00 PM and Abstract Mathematics 6:00-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
