The morning started with the call out for Dublin orderlies at 5:00 AM. They were headed out at 5:30 AM. The morning started out dark, cloudy, hazy, light breeze and cold – 48 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, cloudy except for clearing between the mid sky and Southeastern horizon, the light breeze made the temperature colder. The autonomous car had the facility and flood lights turned on, they tested their vehicles last night. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the soccer field. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; band of red haze amid the sparse clouds; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras; red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue, gray clouds and blue sky; clouds near the suns path were peach color mixed with white and gray colors. Breakfast was served early and no wildlife appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. The birds appeared before sun rise, they feasted on food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. As the sun rise amid the sparse clouds it looked hazy and clouds near its path were peach, orange, mauve and gray colors. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 24 seconds. ServSafe for Food Handler examination at 8:00 AM. Rounded up inmates who were registered to take the test. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. A group of new inmates attended the A and O from 7:45-10:00 AM. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and colorful sunrise. Opened my eyes to the cloudy blue sky. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was cold when she let the dogs out. She has an appointment with Dr. Jasmine Lee at 1:30 PM.
