The morning started with call out for Dublin Orderlies at 5:00 AM. They were headed out at 5:30 AM. The morning started out dark, cloudy, light breeze and cold – 45 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was cloudy in the mid sky, sparse clouds in the Eastern and Southern Horizon, the light breeze made the temperature colder. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on, they tested their vehicles last night. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the soccer field. The dawn sky was on display; band of red haze; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky; peach and mauve colored clouds near the Eastern horizon and white and dark Gray clouds in mid sky. Breakfast was served early, no wildlife appeared after breakfast so inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. The birds appeared before sun rise and feasted on the food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the Sierras giving it depth and revealed the snow capped mountains, turned the clouds in mid sky peach color and warmed the air. Finished walking 6 miles at 7:50 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 28 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 25 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. Finished my laundry at 7:50 AM. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 9:00 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and colorful sun rise. Opened my eyes to the cloudy sky. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested.
