No morning call out for Dublin orderlies because of the rain. They were supposed to resume on Friday. It rained last night but stopped around 3:00 AM. The morning started out dark, cloudy, breezy and cold – 44 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was completely overcast but clearing in the West and the breeze made the temperature colder. The dawn sky was on display with dark clouds in the East. Breakfast was served early and no wildlife appeared, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on but they were not testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The trails were flooded and muddy so I walked on the outdoor treadmill and on the basketball court. I had a medical call out at 7:00 AM to check my blood pressure. My blood pressure was normal. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:50 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 42 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 26 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 9:00 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dusk sky and sun set from last night. Opened my eyes to the cloudy sky. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was cold in Pinole. She will work on her Easter Inventory and cleaned the yard. GSW is playing the Brooklyn Nets tonight. I will be busy with GED Tutoring and Class, and ACE Class tonight. Talked to counselor Reyes to inform him we had a self surrender inmate who turn himself in early on Monday and he was assigned bunk #74U. We won’t have any new inmates until 3/13/2025. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Checked email from Doris at 9:40 AM: Doris is well. She walked 9465 steps, 16.4 inches step length and symmetry was 7.5%. Yesterday was the 386th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She had a nice visit with Hortencia . Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: baked chicken, sweet potatoes, green beans, bread and water. Did my laundry at 10:30 AM. Worked with education supervisor to move some GED Books to the education computer room. Had a short nap. Finished my Laundry. GED tutoring 12:00-1:30 PM. GED Class 1:30-2:30 PM. The predators were out in the fields hunting for rabbits and squirrels. The sun came out but more clouds were rolling in. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count.. Dinner menu: chicken fajitas, tortilla, corn, black beans, cheese and water. Had my haircut. ACE Class Mastering Stage Presence 6:00-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
