3/6/2024 Wednesday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of Coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 62 degrees F. Started walking at 6:15 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:30 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, muffin, apple and water.

Plan for Today:

  1. Stretch.
  2. Call Doris.
  3. Check email from Doris.
  4. Email daily diary for 3/5/2024.
  5. Walk 6 miles.
  6. Split Stretch.
  7. Quotations.
  8. ACE Classes – History of Great Art 2 6-7 PM (Hosting).
  9. GED/ ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM.
  10. Commissary day.

The morning started out dark and gray, the crescent was visible amid some alto cirrus clouds. The Eastern sky was covered with thick clouds, upper sky was clear and some alto clouds in the Western sky, but clouds from the Western sky was moving Eastward. The alto clouds were illuminated in yellow peach color, the sun tried to peer through the clouds only briefly before it was covered by the clouds. As the morning progressed, the clouds grew thicker until the sky was completely cover by clouds. Lebron the rabbit was grazing by the basketball court while other rabbits were grazing on the field, they left the field as it got lighter but Lebron was still near the basketball court. Walked 5.5 miles and jogged the final half mile. Completed 6 miles walk at 7:50 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 31 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 13 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 3 seconds per lap (vuelta). It was a good walk and jog and the pace was good. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court until 8:20 AM. Cleaned the computer room. Had some crackers and apples for snacks. Showered at 8:50 AM and changed to BOP uniform. BOP started to install 5 extra bunks to accommodate more inmates. More bunks will be added to make a total of 10 new bunks. Talked to Doris at 10:40 AM: Doris is well but she did not sleep too well last night. The weather in the Bay Area was cool but turned sunny, but it was cold outside. Doris walked 7259 steps, step length was 15.2 Inches and symmetry was 89%. Yesterday was the 44 th consecutive days she has closed the ring on her iPhone app. The dogs are well and are running around in the yard. She called the optometrist but her glasses are not ready, probably by this weekend. I told her we have a new case manager and his name was Mr Larsen, he is supposed to be a good case manager from the penitentiary. We will get to meet him soon. I told her that BOP installed 5 more bunks in the dormitory and they will add 5 more bunks in the future. I told her I walked 6 miles in the morning and Lebron the rabbit was out by the basketball court. She has an appointment with Dr Jasmine Lee next week, she has not have an asthma attack in 3 months. She has an appointment with the Tax Preparer – Shushma, Doris told her I was incarcerated in Atwater, she asked Doris if she needed any help, to contact her. Doris is getting all her Tax information together for the tax preparer. I told her I will host ACE Class – History of Great Art 2 6-7 PM. I will have GED/ESL tutoring and some minor sewing. Doris will close the ring again today and email her results to me. I told her to take a nap if she needs it. Went to sewing room to: repair pants for Josh, Pillowcase for Ohiri and shower bag for Jimmie ad exchanged 3 XL T-shirt for Cesar. GED/ESL tutoring 12:00- 2:30 PM. The tutoring sessions went well. Power outage at the dormitory at 3:10 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: spaghetti with marinara sauce, spinach, salad and water. Power was restored at 5:45 PM. Hosted the ACE Class – History of Great Art 2 6-7:00 PM. Back to unit to complete washing: three jackets, uniforms and three blankets. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.

Today was a good day: Doris is well and the dogs are well too. Doris closed the ring for the 44 th consecutive days. She walked 7259 steps, 15.2 Inches step length and symmetry was 89%. Walked 6 Miles and split stretched. Hosted ACE Class and GED/ESL tutoring classes went well.
