No call out for Dublin Orderlies this morning. The morning started out dark, cloudy, rain and cool – 51 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was completely overcast and raining, it rained all night. Since it was raining, the walking trails were flooded and I walked on the treadmill in the training room. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on but they were not testing their vehicles. As the sky brightened, all I could see was thick clouds and rain was a steady drizzle. No wild life appeared after breakfast, inmates did not leave their food on the ground as they were trying to dodge the rain. Completed walking 6 miles on the treadmill at 7:50 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 48 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 28 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga in the training room until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good on a rainy morning. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, balance, flexibility and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and colorful sun rise from yesterday. Opened my eyes to the ceiling of the training room. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. She did not have an asthma attack last night. Hortencia is coming to visit her today. She ordered her grocery on line and they will be delivered today. Diana will come by the house to pick up some fruits after she changed it out from the Altar. She will continue to work on her Easter Inventory. She was glad that GSW won their games against the New York Knicks. I will be busy with GED tutoring, GED Class, ACE Classes tonight and custom sewing. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:20 AM. Went to sewing room: measured 40X28 Pants and 2X Shirt size for Taco, sewed 2 towel blankets and shortened sweat pants for Chris. Today was commissary day and several inmates braved the rain to get their groceries. I did not get anything. Checked email from Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well and rested. She walked 9357 steps, 15.7 inches step length and symmetry was 15.2%. Yesterday was the 385th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. Hortencia will visit her today.
