The morning call out for Dublin Orderlies at 5:00 AM. They were headed out at 5:40 AM. The morning started out dark, sparse cirrus clouds in mid sky, hazy, light breeze and cold – 44 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, some sparse clouds on the path of the sun and some wind blown cirrus clouds, the light breeze made the temperature colder. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood light turned on and they were testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the soccer field. Breakfast was served early, no wildlife appeared after breakfast and the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The sky brightened early and the dawn sky was on display; band of red haze mixed with some gray clouds; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras; the cirrus clouds looked like peach puffs while lower clouds were dark gray. As the sun rise over the Sierras, sparse clouds in its way were red with golden edges, it changed colors as it ascended through the haze: red, orange, yellow an bright yellow. Birds appeared around 6:40 AM, they feasted on food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. Completed walking 2 miles and jogged the final 4 miles at 7:45 AM, in 1 hour 10 minutes and 12 seconds. Average walking times were: 11 minutes and 42 seconds per mile or 1 minutes and 57 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and colorful sun rise. Opened my eyes to the Blue sky with sparse clouds. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well. It was cold in Pinole. She was working on her Easter inventory.
