2/28/2024 Wednesday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 66 degrees F. Started walking at 6:20 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:25 AM. Breakfast menu: cereal, muffin, apple and water.

- ACE Classes – Dark Matter , Dark Energy 5-6 PM (Hosting) and Effective Writing 6-6:30 PM.
- GED/ ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. 10) Commissary day.
The morning started out dark but cool. the dawn sky emerged, the 3/4 moon was in the upper Western sky and the sky was clear, Northern star was visible. Lebron the rabbit was by the basketball court. Analogous colors appeared on the path of the sun the color ranges from Brown, red, orange, yellow, gold, light blue, blue and navy blue in the mid sky. The colors grew brighter as the morning progressed. As the sun emerged, the golden sphere illuminated everything around it to yellow and gold. The sun was especially bright and the sun ray felt warm and the sky lit up. Walked 5.5 miles and jogged the final half mile. Completed my walk at 8:00 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 39 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 9 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 9 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 2 seconds per lap (vuelta). It was a pretty good pace as I worked up a sweat. It was commissary day today but I did not get anything as most of the items i needed were out of stock. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the warm morning sunshine, the stretch felt good and I finished the stretch at 8:30 AM. Counselor Reyes told me, we would not have any new inmates until 3/11/2024. the computer room was still under lockdown. Had a zebra cake, nuts and an apple for snacks. Showered at 9:20 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Went to the sewing room to exchange 2x boxers for Frank. Repaired belt for Reymundo. Reorganized the belts inventory. Repairs pants for Leatherman. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: hamburger, French fries, banana, vegetables and water. Called Doris at 11:40 AM: Doris is well. She is with Diana. They are at the gas station to check if the Fuel gauge is working properly. They just came back from her appointment with Dr Arnold. Dr Arnold told her she will get the shots as long as she needs it. She still have drop foot and her hand is still curled up, so she will be needing it for a while. She asked it the computer room is still closed, I told her it will be closed until next week. She walked 7859 steps, 15.2 Inches step length and symmetry was 87%. It is her 37th days of closing the ring. She will go home and try to close the ring again today. GED/ ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Exchanged 3 T shirts and 3 boxers for Ricardo. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: scrambled eggs, biscuits with gravy, fries and water. Talked to Doris at 5:00 PM: Doris is well and she had 36 shots from Dr Arnold. But she does not feel the effect from the shots. I told her it will take a few days before it takes effect. Diana gave Doris a bone with meat on it, she boiled soup with it and made a dinner out of it. I told her I will be administering the Religious Freedom examination tonight. They check to see if the fuel gauge was working properly for the Mazda. ACE Class – Religious Freedom – Buddha 6-7 PM (Hosting). Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris is well and she had her Botox shots from Dr Arnold. She walked 7859 steps, step length was 15.2 Inches and symmetry was 82%. This was the 37th consecutive days she has closed the ring. Walked and jogged 6 miles and split stretched. Hosted ACE class. Good GED/ESL tutoring sessions.
