The morning call out for Dublin Orderlies at 5:00 AM. They were headed out by 5:30 AM. The morning started out dark, hazy, foggy, breeze and cool – 46 degrees F. The lower atmosphere brightened quickly, hazy, fog made the visibility down to about 5 miles and the slight breeze made the temperature cooler. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on and they were testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the soccer field. The beautiful dawn sky was on display amid the distance fog; red band of haze; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red, orange, yellow, light blue and blue sky, the fog was light. Breakfast was served early and no wildlife appeared after breakfast so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. The birds appeared around 6:50 AM and feasted on their food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the outline of the Sierras, it changed colors as it ascended through the haze: red, orange, yellow and bright yellow. Completed walking 2 miles and jogged the final 4 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 9 minutes and 49 seconds. Average walking times were: 11 minutes 39 seconds per mile or 1 minute and 57 seconds per lap. Today was commissary day and several of the inmates braved the cold to get their items. I did not get anything from the commissary. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The predator dogs were back in the fields chasing after rabbits and squirrels. The rabbits were running for their lives. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and spectacular sun rise. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. She had an asthma attack and had to use the nebulizer. She thinks it was the change in weather and over exertion when she walked. She will try not to push herself too hard. She walked 9109 steps, 15.2 inches step length and symmetry was 8.5%. Yesterday was the 388th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She was supposed to go shopping with Diana. I will be busy with GED tutoring, GED Class and ACE Classes tonight. The computer room was still lock downed and I cannot enter my journals or book reports. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Went to sewing room: showed Alam how to repair uniforms, repaired pants for Gabrouel and fabricated pillow and pillow cases. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: hamburger, salad, fries, apple and water. Had a short nap. Went to sewing room to fabricate pillow and cases and try too fix the jammed sewing machine. GED tutoring 12:00-1:30 PM. GED Class 1:30-2:30 PM. Counselor Reyes informed me that we will have 2 new inmates coming out of the SHU and 8 inmates coming off the bus tomorrow. Worked on and fixed the sewing machine. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: cheesy chicken, green beans, mixed vegetables and bread. ACE Classes Great Depression 5:30-6:00 PM and Abstract Mathematics 6:00-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
