The morning started our dark but cool in the 50’s. The dawn sky quickly emerged, the Eastern sky was filled with low cirrus clouds with layers of clearing, the big round moon was visible amid the stratus cirrus clouds. The sky was dark blue with gray clouds and the clearing above Sierras was swilled with red, brown, orange, yellow colors. As the morning progressed, the colors changed to pastel colors and the top of the clouds were yellowish white with dark gray bottom, and the clouds in the Western horizon were illuminated with cream color. As the sun ascended through the clearings, it turned to yellow and gold color and it ray radiated outwards to tint the clouds on it path with peach cream color. More clouds were moving in and the sun was shielded by the clouds. My rabbit friend Lebron was at the basketball court grazing on fresh grass. Finished walking 5.5 Miles and jogged the final 1/2 mile at 7:50 AM, in 1 hour 11 minutes and 12 seconds. Average walking times were: 11 minutes and 51 seconds per mile (milla) or 1 minutes and 58 seconds per lap (vuelta). The times were faster because I jogged the final 1/2 mile. I worked up a sweat and it felt good. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court until 8:20 AM. Counselor Reyes informed me that eight new inmates will join us today, four from the bus and four more self surrenders. Cleaned the computer room. Checked and replied to Doris’s email: Doris is well and was happy that I called last night. She walked 7499 steps, step length was 15.1 Inches and symmetry was down to 85%. this is the 35th consecutive days she had closed the ring. She increased the threshold to 7000 steps to close the ring. I told her to keep up with her walking routine. It takes her 1 hour and 30 minutes to close the ring now. Another interesting thing, she had not has an asthma attack for months, and during the times she closed the ring. She was a little disappointed that the warriors lost their game last night. I told her I will be busy with ACE Class, GED/ESL Tutoring and 7-8 new inmates will join us in the camp today. I had some donuts, an apple and nuts for snacks. Showered and changed to BOP uniform. I went to the warehouse to secure inventory for the sewing room. John Liu delivered the merchandise to the sewing room. Prepared the bus bags for new inmates. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: chicken breast, spaghetti with marinara sauce, bread, apple and water. Mrs. Tianto was at the mass hall. This was her last day. They will announce her replacement tomorrow. called Doris at 10:40 AM but could not connect. Talked to Doris at 10:50 AM: Doris is well. She was walking outside before it started to get cold and drizzle. She cam into the house to do her walking. She is confident that she will close the ring again just like she has done for the last 35 consecutive days. I told her we will have my ACE Class and GED/ESL tutoring. I told her Mrs. Tianto was at the luncheon room to say goodbye to us. She asked about the rabbit, i told her Lebron was at the basketball court today. The dogs are doing well and taking refuge on the sofa under the blankets. Doris will b busy working on her design in her sewing room today. Went to sewing room to prepare bus bags for new inmates. GED/ESL tutoring 12:00 -2:30 PM. GED / ESL tutoring went well. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: chili with beans, bread, rice and water. Only four new inmates showed up at the camp at 5:30 PM. We processed them. ACE Class Real Estate 6:30-7:00 PM. Census count at 7:30 PM. Census count at 8:30 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM.
