2/25/2024 Sunday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:40 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee ad watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 70 degrees F. Started walking at 6:30 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:50 AM. Breakfast menu: Grits, muffin, apple and water.

- ACE Classes – Spanish lessons 7:30 – 9:00 PM, Geography Asia 5-5:30 PM and Oceanography 2 6-7 PM (Hosting).
The morning started out with the dawn sky on full display. The big round moon was in the Western sky. Th Eastern sky was filled with analogous colors from Brown, red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, blue to dark blue. It was a beautiful display of colors in the dawn sky. As the morning progressed, the colors changed to light pastel. My rabbit friend – Lebron was by the basketball court. Walked the first two miles on the basketball court and the final four miles on the trail. Spanish class was from 7:30 – 9:00 PM. Finished walking 6 miles at 9:10 AM in 1 hour 12 minutes and 3 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 1 second per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 1 seconds per lap 9Vuelta). Played some pickle ball after the walk. Worked up a sweat playing pickle ball. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Lunch menu: scrambled eggs, toast with syrup, banana and water. Talked to Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well and rested. She closed the ring again for the 34th consecutive days. She walked 6521 steps, 14.7 Inches step length and symmetry was down to 72%. She aske about Lebron the rabbit, I told her Lebron was by the basketball court today. She raised the steps required to close the ring to 7000 steps to challenge herself. The weather is nice in the Bay Area and she will try to walk outside. I told her I just had my lunch and Census count was next. Census count at 10:00 AM. Took a shower at 10:30 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Had a short nap. Went to library to work on my ACE Class report. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrots, bread and water. Replied to Doris email. Went to library to work on my ACE Class report. ACE Classes – Geography Asia 5-5:30 PM, Oceanography II 6-7 PM (Hosting). Census count at 7:30 PM. Census count at 8:30 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris is well and rested. She closed the ring again, 34th consecutive days. She walked 6521 steps, 14.7 Inches step length and symmetry was down to 78%. Lebron the rabbit was at the basketball court. Walked 6 miles and stretched. Attended Spanish lessons, Geography Asia and Hosted Oceanography II classes. Completed ACE Class Report on Benelux cities.
