The morning wake up call for Dublin orderlies at 5:00 AM. They were headed out at 5:45 AM. Started my laundry at 5:30 AM. The morning started out dark, cloudy, hazy, breezy and cool – 55 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was completely overcast except for a clearing in the Southern horizon, hazy and the breeze made the temperature colder. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the soccer field. The dawn sky was on display: cream colored haze above the clouds, seafoam green and light blue sky, dark gray clouds that looked like it was raining. Breakfast was served early, no wildlife appeared after breakfast, so the inmate left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. I walked on the soccer and baseball field trails. The birds appeared around 7:00 AM and they feasted on the food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. Completed walking 2 miles and jogged the final 4 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 11 minutes and 9 seconds. Average walking times were: 11 minutes and 52 seconds per mile or 1 minute and 59 seconds per lap. Finished my laundry. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 9:00 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful sun set and colorful dusk sky from yesterday. Opened my eyes to the cloudy sky. Called Doris at 9:00 AM. Doris is well and rested. She walked 9447 steps,16.5 inches step length and symmetry was 8.7%. Yesterday was the 386th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She enjoyed the GSW / Mavericks game last night, they played a very good game. She finished my Book and Class reports and started to compile and print them. I will be busy with GED tutoring, GED Class and ACE Classes. The computer room was still on lock down, so I cannot access my emails. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:20 AM. Went to sewing room: hemmed 2 pairs of 40X30 pants for Lionel Chavez and hemmed2 pairs of 34X26 pants for Tinoco. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: chili, fries, cheese, carrots, apple and water. Had a short nap. They removed all the excess mattress from Dublin out of the computer room. GED tutoring 12:00-1:30 PM. GED Class 1:30-2:30 PM. Worked on my Book Report #55, The Traumatic Roots of Addiction. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: pepper beef, rice, corn, beans, bread and water. ACE Classes Abraham Lincoln and The Civil War 5:30-6:00 PM and Culinary Art Part 2, Professional Chef 6:00-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
