The morning started out dark, sparse clouds, breezy, hazy and cool – 46 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, sparse scallop clouds in the Southern horizon, the crescent moon was in mid sky at 10 o’clock and light breeze made the temperature cooler. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on but they were not testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the soccer field. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; band of red haze; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red orange, yellow, light green, light blue and dark gray clouds; crescent moon was in mid sky at 10 o’clock amid the dark blue sky, colorful clouds near the suns path. No wildlife appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their the cakes and cereal on the ground and basketball court. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the reddish orange sphere illuminated the Sierras, and turning the clouds into a colorful display and the sun changed colors as it ascended through the haze. The birds appeared and feasted on the food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. I walked on the soccer field trail. Completed walking 2 miles and jogged the final 4 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 10 minutes and 32 seconds. Average walking times were: 11 minutes and 46 seconds per mile or 1 minute and 58 seconds per lap. The sun moved in and out of the clouds and finally cleared the clouds. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 9:00 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and colorful sun rise. Opened my eyes to the blue sky with scalloped clouds and crescent moon in mid sky. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. They had dinner at Buttercup, Oakland and went to look at the halfway house after dinner. It was a 3 story building near highway 580 at Lake Merritt. She walked 9460 steps, 16.5 inches step length and symmetry was 8.1%. Yesterday was the 385th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone.
