The morning started out dark but cool as the dawn sky was emerging, the Northern Star was visible but not the moon. There were some sparse stratus cirrus clouds over the Sierras. The clearing over the Sierras were red layered with gray clouds and deep blue sky. As the morning progressed, the clearing was filled with analogous colors from bright red, orange, yellow, cream, layers of grey cloud, cream tint on the sparse cloud and light blue to blue sky. As the sun emerged, the path of the sun was bright yellow and gold, the orange Gold sphere was huge, the clouds were tinted with orange color with peach edges. As the sun ascended it started to warm the air and burn off the clouds but was shielded my the clouds momentarily and remerged to brighten the sky and the colors started to disappear. finished walking 6 miles at 7:50 AM, in 1 hour 15 minutes and 2 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes 31 seconds per mile (milla) or 51 seconds per lap (vuelta). Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunshine. The rabbit was out at the basketball court. Finished stretching at 8:20 AM, the stretch felt good in the warm sunshine. I did not get anything from the commissary as I still have adequate supplies. Had a banana, crackers, nuts and chocolate for snacks. Cleaned the computer room. Checked and replied to Doris’ email: Doris is well but tired after running errands. She walked 8746 Steps, Step length was 15.6 Inches and symmetry was 78%. That is the 31st consecutive days she has closed the ring on her iPhone app. She is feeling more confident with her walking. I told her she was doing a good job with her walking and urged her to continue the routine. She was prescribed two new pairs of glasses, for distance and reading. She will pick them up in a couple of weeks. The eye glasses should help her vision. She still has to pick up her eye drops prescription to reduce the swelling of her retina. She like my book report on Spanish Phrase book. Showered at 9:10 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Talked to Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well and she slept well last night after all the walking.
