The morning started out dark, sparse clouds, light fog, breezy and cold – 44 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was foggy with visibility of about 5 miles, sparse clouds in mid sky towards the Southeast, the half moon was in mid sky at 12 o’clock, the light breeze made the temperature colder. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on and they were testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the soccer field. The beautiful dawn sky was on display: band of red haze, analogous colors radiated out of the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and dark blue sky, the 1/2 moon was in the mid sky and clouds in the path of the sun were mauve and peach colors. After breakfast, no wildlife appeared so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. As the morning progressed, the fog moved in from the North and reduced the visibility down to 1/2 mile and eventually down to a couple of hundred feet. The birds appeared and they feasted on the food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. The morning sun rise was quickly shielded by the dense fog and it lowered the temperature. I walked on the soccer field trail. Completed walking 2 miles and jogged the final four miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 12 minutes and 27 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 4 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and one second per lap. I was paged to go to the Front Office. Went to the Front Lobby at 8:00 AM. CO Marquez Young wanted me to make 20 copies of handout for her Psychology class. Each handout had 330 pages and she wanted copies on both sides. Completed making the 20 copies of the handouts by 12:00 PM. She wanted me to help her with coordinating the class and I will meet with her again at 8:00 AM on Thursday 2/20/2025. Back to the dormitory at 12:10 PM. Phil gave me three bananas and 2 bags of cereal for lunch. Ate the bananas and two apples for lunch. Brought some cleaned uniforms to the sewing room: repaired uniforms, sorted and put away uniforms, fabricated towel curtain for Rickey, fabricated Pillow and cover for Pedro and repaired pants for Cody Carlson. I had to cancel the GED tutoring today. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 1:00 PM. GED Class 1:30 – 2:30 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: pizza, salad, green beans, pasta and water. I ate my dinner in the dormitory as they just fixed the pipe leak. Checked email from Doris at 4:20 PM: Doris is well and rested. She walked 9375 steps, 17.3 inches step length and symmetry was 6.9%. Yesterday was the 380th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. Finished my ACE Class Report on The Great Depression.
