Woke up at 5:30 PM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 51 degrees F. Started walking at 6:10 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:40 AM. Breakfast menu: Cereal, muffin, an apple and water.

The crescent moon and Northern Star were visible in the Eastern sky. The Eastern sky was dark blue with some low black clouds was the background for the Crescent Moon and the Northern Star, it was a contrasting but beautiful sight. As the morning progressed the dark blue sky turn to light blue, the cirrus cloud turned to reddish orange color and the Crescent Moon and Northern faded away as the sun emerged over the low clouds. The orange fiery sphere brightened the sky. Several of the students were taking their SABE Test (Test for GED readiness) starting at 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM. Finished walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 Hour 14 minutes and 44 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 Minutes and 11 seconds per mile (milla) or 49 seconds per lap (vuelta). Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunshine. Completed stretching at 8:10 AM. Had a nutty bar, celery, a roll for snacks. Cleaned the computer room. Checked and replied to Doris email: Doris is well but was tired. She walked 8329 steps, with step length of 14.8 Inches and symmetry of 68%. Her walking is improving daily and I encouraged her to keep it up. Geok and Patches arrived in KL safely for Chinese New Year celebration. Doris will try to get Kein to take the Mazda for Smog, if he is not busy. Kein will bring some food for Doris. Doris has the house ready for Chinese New Year. I told her I will be busy with ACE Class and GED/ ESL tutoring and hemming pants for the penitentiary. Showered at 9:10 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Received the CNY card form Geok. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: hamburger, chips, salad, an apple and water. Talked to Doris at 10:40 AM: Doris is well and Kein was at the house. Kein brought some pork belly and preserved vegetables, thousand years eggs porridge and Char Siew Pao. I asked Kein when he was coming over to visit . He said it will probably be the 24th or 25th of February. He went to pick some oranges. It started to rain. Doris is going to ask Kein if he has time to take the Mazda for Smog. Doris told me she walked 8329 steps yesterday. I told her she walking a lot more and have been closing the ring on her iPhone app. I told her we had 41 dozen pants to trim and hem – 492 pairs of pants. We have finished 22 dozens. I have a few people helping me to trim and hem. I told her some students had the SABE test (Readiness for GED test). I will have ACE Class and GED/ ESL tutoring today. Went to sewing room to trim and hem pants. John delivered 15 more dozens of pants and took away 23 dozens that were hemmed. GED/ ESL tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Went to sewing room to sew after the tutoring. Back to the unit at 3:3o PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: chef salad, pea and carrot soup, beets, bread and water. Went to sewing room to hem pants. ACE Classes – Religious Freedom – Buddha 6-7 PM (Hosting). Census count at 6:00 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good Day: Doris is well. She Walked 8329 Steps. Hemmed 22 Dozens pants. Walked 6 miles and split stretch. Hosted ACE Class. Good GED / ESL Tutoring classes.
