The morning started out dark, hazy, cloudy. light fog and cold – 41 degrees F. The sky was overcast except for a clearing in the Southeast, hazy and light fog with visibility of over 5 miles. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on but they were not testing their vehicles. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. Breakfast was served early and no wildlife appeared, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The dawn sky was on display in the clearing in the Southeast horizon: Band of red haze and analogous colors peeking over the Sierras and dark gray clouds. The rabbits were skittish this morning as there were four large predator dogs roaming the area looking for a quick meal. The birds appeared at 7:10 AM and they feasted on the food left by the inmates and foraged on the fields. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. Completed walking 6 Miles at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 20 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 24 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Attended EBRR Class Trauma Part 2, 7:30 – 7:45 AM. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:45 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and brief sun rise before it was shielded by the clouds. Attended EBRR Class Basic Cognition Skills 8:45 – 9:10 AM. Talked to Doris at 9:10 AM: Doris is well and rested.
