It rained all last night and stopped raining at 6:20 AM. The morning was dark, cloudy and cold – 37 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was completely overcast. The autonomous car company had its facility and flood lights turned on but were not testing their vehicles. Rabbits were not grazing on the fields. I walked on the treadmill in the exercise room until after breakfast. No wildlife appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The walking trails were flooded and muddy, the basketball court was wet but walkable. Walked on the basketball court. Birds appeared around 7:20 AM and they feasted on food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:50 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes an d42 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes an d27 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. Walking on the basketball court hurt my knees, so I have to be careful not to push myself too hard while walking on the basketball court. The sky cleared up and the sun broke through the clouds and I could see some blue sky. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The basketball court was wet, so I forgo my Yoga practice. The stretch felt good after the morning walk. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. It rained all night in Pinole and stopped at 5:00 AM. She had a good visitation yesterday. The house is cleaned and she will celebrate Chinese New Year with Karlee and Chris. They will have a reunion dinner and Durian for desert. She finished her walking after she got home yesterday. Unfortunately, GSW lost to the Los Angeles Lakers. I will be working on my class, book reports and have a relaxing day. Checked email from Doris at 9:20 AM: Doris is well and she completed her walking last night after getting home.
