The morning started out dark, hazy, cloudy, breezy and cold – 37 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy with dark plumes of smoke in the Eastern and Southern horizons, light fog in a distance moving in, the crescent moon was in mid sky at 10 o’clock and it was cold. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on but they were not testing their vehicles, they tested them last night. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The Sierras was covered by the smoke, haze and clouds. The clouds in mid sky was mauve in color and changed to red, orange and peach colors as the morning progressed, the crescent moon was in mid sky at 10 o’clock an the dark blue sky. After breakfast, no wildlife appeared so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. Th birds appeared around 7:10 AM and they feasted on food left by the inmates. Thick fog rolled into the camp but dissipated quickly. The clouds and sky brightened as the sun rise. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 20 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 24 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. A group of Unicor essential staff were headed to work 7:30 AM. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The sun finally cleared the clouds at 7:40 AM and it started to burn off the fog. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky, spectacular sun rise with the Golden phoenix and Dragon cloud formations from yesterday. Opened my eyes to the Blue sky and the crescent moon in mid sky at 10 o’clock. More clouds rolled in. Talked to Doris at 8:50 AM: Doris is on her way and ETA is 10:50 -11:00 AM.
