The morning started out dark, foggy, hazy, light breeze and cold – 34 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was very foggy with visibility of only a couple of hundred feet, the half moon was visible in mid sky amid the fog and the light breeze made it colder. I could not see the flood lights of the autonomous car company as the fog was very thick. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. As the sky brightened the fog thickened and visibility was down to a couple of hundred feet. No wildlife appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. As the sun rise over the Sierras, all I could see was a bright spot through the fog and the moon was not visible. The birds appeared around 7:20 AM and they feasted on the food left on the ground by the inmates. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 24 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 24 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Stretched until 7:50 AM. We had a recall for fog count at 8:00 AM. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court 9:00 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, balance, flexibility and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and spectacular sun rise from yesterday. Talked to Doris at 9:10 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was cold and foggy in Pinole when she let the dogs out. She told Diana that we cannot keep the dog in our house and she accepted it. She informed Annie and Quang that we cannot have split visits per BOP regulations. She will have to coordinate future visits with Doris. I told her visitation in the camp is on despite no visitation at the USP. Also we won’t have to work in the USP next week, as the lockdown was lifted. GSW will play the Washington Wizards tonight. I told her i will be busy with my EBRR homework and GED tutoring today. Lunch was served was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: scrambled eggs, pancake with syrup, fries, apple and water. Census count at 10:00 AM. A coupe of inmates had their sentences commuted by President Biden and they will be leaving next week. Showered and changed to casual clothes. Changed my bedding to a more comfortable mattress. Had a short nap. Checked email from Doris at 11:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. She walked 9286 steps, 16.5 inches step length and symmetry was 7.4%. Yesterday was the 349th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. BOP has not updated our release date yet. The GSW will play the Washington Wizards tonight. The sun finally came out at 12:30 PM. There were lots of visitation today. GED Tutoring 12:00 – 3;00 PM. census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Meat loaf with gravy, bread, corn, rice and water. Watched some NFL Playoff Football. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM.
