  7. Yoga.
  8. Quotations.

The morning started out dark, hazy, foggy, breezy and cold – 34 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy with plumes of black and white smoke and the breeze made the temperature colder. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on but were maintaining their equipment. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The dawn sky was on display: band of red haze over plumes of dark smoke, analogous colors radiating over the Sierras and the dark blue sky. After breakfast, no wildlife appeared, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the red sphere changed colors as it ascended through the haze and smoke: red, striated red, orange, yellow and bright yellow. The sun brightened the sky and warmed the air. The birds appeared and feasted on food left on the ground by the inmates. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. Walked 4 miles and jogged the final 2 miles and completed my walking at 7:50 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 2 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 21 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the baseball court in the morning sunshine until 9:00 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance an breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and the spectacular sun rise, also the nice sunset and dusk sky with the full moon in mid sky. Talked to Doris at 9:20 AM: Doris is well and rested. She had a good visitation yesterday. She made arrangements with Norma for future trips to Atwater. She will do some house cleaning today.
