THE CONCEPT
There is power in creativity. When we can take the hardest parts of our lives and turn them into are so that we may then turn around and give our pain away to someone who sees beauty in our rough journey, our transformation- we gain healing and power. At this part of the short black and white, silent film- the girl dances away, waving her scarf in the gentle breeze.
I have become passionate in detailing and sharing my journey to wellness, wholeness, love, healing and true transformation.
When I came to Federal Prison, I no longer had paint or sex or any of the mediums that I generally used to express my creativity. Here, I have made a genuine attempt to turn my mess of a life into some sort of abstract art form in the unfamiliar medium of thoughts, words and ideas on paper with pencil. Somehow, IN THE ABSENCE OF PAINT, I have become whole.
