Journal Entry

My Home Confinement Paperwork officially left the compound yesterday!

Most likely, this means a 30 day trajectory for release is set in place.
It’s like winning the lottery but first having had to cut down the tree to print it.

In my journal, I have the certified mail stubs that cost $70 just to mail out all of the positive things I have done here to change my life, build a better community and future plans; under the stubs it says, ” golden tickets “.

Gratitude fills my heart and I think of every single workout class I led, 2,100 or more, where I began with a stretch and these words, ” think about what you are grateful for in this moment and today “.

Gratitude is one of the strongest emotions in the universe.

I have so much gratitude for so many folks who have guided me and held my hand on this journey:

AMY POVAH- one of my strongest advocates, who once brought me to tears when she told me that she had a picture of me and my mother on her desk, her goal being to reunite us! Suffice to say, this image kept me going.

Thank you AMY!
