I love the words in this newsletter. I am the landscape orderly here for the Captain and often I find myself mentoring the girls who work compound. When they bring the drama of their dorm into my garden, I am quick to give them a book to read such as, EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, and request that they write reflections on each chapter as they go. I love to ask them, ” so what are you going to put on your resume? I watched 60 Days IN, I know exactly what was going on with the drama in my dorm and I know how to play spades? That is never going to fly!
One of the things I notice here is that the women tend to see success from a lenses of a hook- up. I struggle to teach them the beauty of true independence.
Thank you for all you are doing. By the end of the year, I plan to have many women channeled through to your sight.
That is my personal goal. Winning.
