Greetings. I’m Chris, and I am one of those whom are “wrongfully incarcerated” here in the United States Federal Prison conglomerate. I have gone to college to become a professional artist. I enjoy history, art, steam-powered gadgets, collecting antiques, and various genres of music. As a “free person,” I worked at a museum doing restoration work and as a conductor on a short-line railroad. I was (and still am) part of a War II living history group that travels frequently to participate in historic battle re-enactments, to drum up support for veterans, and to put on educational displays. I have been a movie extra on a couple of occasions. I also enjoy “nerd/geek” subjects such as video games, manga/anime, cosplay, Star Wars, comic-cons, and many other subjects. However, I do not often get along with others whom have these particular interests in common, due to our very different beliefs. I still speak to others who like the nerd subjects, but only on the rare occasions our beliefs do sync up. Whilst incarcerated, not many available recreational or educational activities benefit or interest me. In the summer, I play pickleball occasionally or play board or card games. Year-round, I draw “manga-style” pin-up girl illustrations and send them home. I read books on history as well.
