As I move closer to my remand date of July 10, 2025, I’ve been putting a great deal of focus into refining my release plan. It’s been more than just an exercise in logistics—it’s brought me greater clarity about who I am, what I’m building, and how I intend to use every day ahead of me with purpose. Writing this plan has helped me shift from uncertainty to structure. It’s sharpening my mission.
Today, I attended the scheduled weekly call hosted by Justin Paperny and Michael Santos, where they discussed recent changes announced in a new BOP memo. There were nearly 100 people on the call—family members, advocates, and individuals either already in the system or preparing for it. The questions reflected a common hope: that their loved ones might qualify for relief. Everyone is searching for clarity, stability, and something to hold onto.
One moment from the call really stayed with me. A woman—a doctor recently sentenced to 10 years—spoke up. She shared how she’s been trying to stay busy by scrubbing toilets and working as a waitress, but that she’s struggling with depression and even thoughts of suicide. Her voice shook. You could hear the pain. And you could feel how many people on the call related to her.
That moment reinforced something I already know deep in my soul: many people don’t know how to navigate the chaos they’ve been thrown into. They lose structure. They lose hope. And when that happens, the system wins.
I refuse to let that happen to me—or to the people I serve.
From Earning Freedom, I learned how Michael Santos took ownership of his future by building tools, documenting his journey, and creating systems that made his time valuable. That mindset—to turn adversity into contribution—is what I’m living now. I’m honored to be working alongside PrisonProfessors.org to help build a master course that brings education, purpose, and clarity to those inside and preparing to return home.
This isn’t just about me.
It’s about building a model others can follow.
A mindset that can’t be taken.
A frequency that attracts strength.
A system rooted in self-mastery—mentally, physically, spiritually.
I will lead myself so I can lead others.
I will document my path to give hope.
I will show that transformation is real—and it’s possible.
The fire may not be over, but I’m walking through it with purpose.
Every storm teaches me. Every obstacle sharpens me.
I will trust the process, build my tribe, and move forward.
Onward.
