The way you used the word onus leads me to believe it means something like personal responsibility. That would be my first guess. Although I will look it up later to see for sure. I know how I can earn academic credentials in prison. Although they make it extremely difficult to do so. I am unsure of how I can contribute to society in meaningful measurable ways while incarcerated. Would anyone have any suggestions? I am trying to build a stronger support network. It seems to be harder than I thought it would be to make contact with people on the outside. Lol.
