Today I woke up at 6:20am and showered. When I turned off the shower I realized I forgot my shower towel. Oops. Thank Hashem, I had a shirt I’d use for bedtime I could use to dry myself off. First time that I’ve ever forgotten my towel. It was no big deal. Once I got dressed I realized no one announced “Garage” so I confirmed with a fellow garage camper and he believes we have off the whole week. Now to be honest, I almost prefer to work for the routine, as I find the day is longer.
At 11am, the kosher kitchen opens up, so I go over to pick up my bag of lunch, but before I can do so, the guard looks at me and says “Let’s hold the line. Let’s hold the line.” As he is staring at me, he notices my shirt is not tucked how it normally is. I notice it and say, “Oops, sorry” and tuck in my shirt and then get back in the line to pick up my lunch. Since I had no work, I left my shirt untucked as I was less formal for the day.
Happy to have saved some delicious salmon and tuna from Purim and added it to a challah roll with potato chips, so lunch was great. I topped lunch off with my water bottle filled with water and my Arnold Palmer mix. I finished my Al Michaels (5th) book so I’ll be preparing a book report soon. I stopped off at the Temple and saw 2 friends and talked together as we had the whole room to ourselves which is unheard of. Then another friend walked in, so I decided to spend some quality time with him. We laughed, pondered on some things, talked about Purim that now passed and Passover next month.
