The morning started out dark, cloudy, hazy, light breeze and cool – 47 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was cloudy in the Western horizon and it was moving East and South East, slight haze and light breeze, the full moon was setting in the West it was partially covered by the incoming clouds. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on and they were testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the soccer field. Breakfast was served early and no wildlife appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The beautiful dawn sky was on display: reddish orange band of haze, analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky with dark gray clouds moving in, and the full moon setting in the West amid the dark clouds. As the morning progressed it was a colorful display of clouds: Gray, mauve, fuchsia, red, orange, peach and white. The birds appeared at 7:00 AM and they feasted on the food left by the inmates and they foraged in the fields. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the sky and warmed the air. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. Completed walking 3 miles and jogged the final 3 miles at 7:40 AM , in 1 hour and 12 minutes. Average walking times were: 12 minutes per mile or 2 minutes per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:40 AM. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and spectacular sub rise. Opened my eyes to the cloudy sky and more clouds were moving in. The new CO for the morning called for a count at 9:00 AM, after the workers were recalled, they decided to cancel the count. Talked to Doris at 9:05 AM: Doris is well and rested.
