The morning started out dark, hazy, breezy and cold (42 degrees F). The lower atmosphere was hazy and the 3/4 moon was in mid sky. The autonomous car company had just completed testing their vehicles in the morning. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with the band of red haze, the analogous colors peeking over the Sierras, the 3/4 moon in mid sky and the contrasting blue sky. Breakfast was served but the squirrels were still asleep, so the inmates left the food on the ground. As the morning progressed the sky brightened an analogous colors radiated out of the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the reddish orange sphere illuminated the outline of the Sierras and giving it depth and creating a picturesque scene. Completed 6 miles walk at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 6 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 21 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk and I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized out trip to Red Rocks National Park near Las Vegas. We passed through some spectacular red rocks structures on our way , we stopped at various locations to climb on the rocks for spectacular pictures. There were mostly red rocks but there were also some rock that were yellow and green color. Stopped at various vista points for pictures and enjoy the beautiful views. Opened my eyes to the Blue sky with the 3/4 moon in mid sky. Called Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. She slept all through the night, just waking up once.
