The morning call out for food service workers at 5:00 AM. They were headed to the Penitentiary by 5:30 AM. The morning started out with the dark, hazy, breezy and cool. The lower atmosphere was hazy with plumes of dark smoke from the Coffee Pot and Boone fires from Sequoia National Park and Fresno respectively. The beautiful dawn sky with Dark Blue sky with analogous colors peeking over the Sierras. As the morning progressed, the sky brightened and analogous colors radiated out of the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. Washed my sheets and blankets. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the plumes of dark smoke turn to Mauve color and illuminated the Sierras creating a picturesque scene. The squirrels appeared after breakfast and were scurrying around begging for food from the inmates. Walked 3 miles and ran the final three miles. Completed six miles at 7:40 AM, the e3 miles runs was completed in 28 minutes and 49 seconds. The average running times were: 9 minutes and 37 seconds per mile or 1 minutes and 37 seconds per lap. The pace was fast as I had to walk extra laps to catch my breath and to cool down. Finished my laundry and made up my bed. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:40 AM. The Yoga practice felt good after the run, I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Attended ACE Class Beginning Spanish 8:40 – 9:30 AM. Unfortunately, Bobo was not responding to Doris call and did not come out of the dog house. Doris is worried something might have happened to Bobo. Diana will come by the house to check it out. Doris called Joseph (Prison Professor) to tell him about the delay in my release to the half way house. He will check with Justin to verify if the Half Way House date is correct and well get back to Doris with the answers on Monday. I told her that I found several cases regarding Second Chance Act where inmates were given one year half way house and 6 months of home confinement. I will discuss this issue with Mr Larsen after my relocation to Northern district is approved. If my 10% home confinement is approved, my half way house date could be between November – December 2024. I told her I will busy with the ACE Class reports.
