5/2/2024 Thursday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 81 degrees F. Started walking at 6:10 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:20 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, cake, an apple and water.

- Check email from Doris.
- Email daily diary for 5/1/2024.
- Walk 6 miles.
- Stretch and split stretch.
- Quotations.
- ACE Classes – Dark Matters, Dark Energy 6-6:30 PM (Hosting), Culinary Class 6:30 – 7:00 PM and Taxes and Business 6:30 – 7:00 PM.
- GED/ ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM.
The morning started out windy, cloudless, cool and the crescent moon was in the mid sky. (manana muy viente, no hay nubles, hace frio , el media luna en cielo). The dawn sky was on full display (alba cielo es en exponer), the beautiful colors were radiating out of the sun’s path ( lindo colors extenderse de sol sendero): red (rojo), orange (naranja) , yellow (amarillo), blue (azul) and dark blue sky (azul marino cielo). But outside of the brilliant colors there were smog (pero desde el brillante colors alli much smog). the rabbits were grazing in the field (Conejos pastoreo en el campos). As the sun rise the orange red sphere brightened the sky and warmed the air (soleda del sol el rojo naranja esfera brillante el cielo y calentra aire). The rabbits moved to graze on the baseball field (conejos moverse a pastoreo en beisbol campo). Walked 5 miles and jogged the final mile (caminar cinco milla y correr uno milla). Finished walking at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 12 minutes and 18 seconds (completo caminar son las siete curenta, en uno hora dose minutos diesiocho segundos). Average walking times were (promedio caminar tiempo es): 12 minutes 3 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and one second per lap (dose minutos tres segundos por milla o dos minutos uno segundo por vuelta). The pace was fast ( el paso es muy rapido). Stretched (estirir) and split stretched at the basketball court until 8:10 AM. Cleaned the computer room (limpiar cuartido computador) had some donuts, crackers, celery and an apple for snacks (comer bunelo, galleta, apio y uno manzana para pasaboca). Checked email from Doris (verificar correo electronico de Doris): Doris is well and rested (Doris is bien y descano). She walked 9021 steps, 16.1 Inches step length and 78% symmetry. Yesterday was the 101st consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone (ella caminar 9021 pasos, 16.1 pulgadas paso largo, 78 por Ciento simetria. Ayer fue s cien uno cosecutivo dias ella cerrar corteza on ella iPhone). She checked the BOP website for my release date but noticed a wrong date (ella verificar BOP sitio web por mi liberar fecha pero ver fecha agravio) . She was tired after walking all the steps (ella es muy cansado despues caminar todo pasos). Showered and change to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM (ducharse ponerse a ropa BOP son las nueve media). Lunch was served at 10:20 AM ( almuerzo servir son las diez veinte).Luncheon menu (almuerzo menu): baked chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrots, grape juice, bread and water (pollo asado, pure de papas con salsa, zanahoria, jugo uva, pan y agua). Talked to Doris at 10:40 AM (hablar con Doris son las dies curenta). Doris is well and rested (Doris es Bien y descanso). She checked the BOP website and my release date was wrong (ella verificar BOP sitio web por me librar fecha pero ver a fecha agravio). I will check with case manager about the mistake (yo verificar con caso director por equivocado). Went to the sewing room to customize some shirts and pants for Gabrouel (Ir a caurto costure a sastre camisa y pantalone per Gabrouel). GED/ESL tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Went to sewing room and completed 4 dozen pants, 6 dozens remaining (ir a cuarto costura a cerrar 4 docens pantalones) Census count at 3:30 PM (Contar censo son las tres media). Dinner was served after the count (Cena servir despues contar). Dinner menu (cena menu): chef salad, beet, potatoe soup, bread and water (Jefe de cocinar ensalada, papas sopa, pan, remolacha y agua). I found out there was problem with the BOP website release date , it is a BOP problem (Me encontar BOP sitio web por fecha librar es problema, me amigos decir me). ACE Classes – Dark Matter, Dark Energy 5-6 PM (Hosting), Culinary Class 6-6:30 PM and Taxes and Business 6:30 – 7:00 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM (lavarse son las nueve). Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM (acostarse son las dies noche).
Today was a good day: Doris is well and rested. She walked 9021 steps, 16.1 inches step length and symmetry was 78%. Yesterday was the 101st consecutive days she closed the ring. Found out it was a BOP web site problem with my release date. Walked 6 miles and split stretched. Attended and hosted ACE Classes. GED/ ESL tutoring. Hemmed 4 more dozens pants, 6 more dozens left.
