Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. The morning started out with the dawn sky (alba cielo) on full display, the sky was clear except for some sparse cirrus clouds (el nubes) and the analogous colors were radiating out from the sun’s path: red, orange, yellow, cream, light blue, blue (Azul) and dark blue (Azul Marino). the rabbits were out grazing in the fields, Labrona and her juvenile rabbits were grazing by the basketball court, I fed them an apple core and celery (apio). As the morning progressed, the sky (el cielo) got brighter and the analogous colors turned to pastel. As the morning sun (Salida del sol) emerged over the Sierras, it burnt off the cirrus clouds and warmed the air (hacer calor). Completed walking 6 miles at 8:00 AM (son las ocho), in 1 hour 12 minutes and 30 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 6 seconds per mile (milla) or 49 seconds per lap (Vuelta). It was a fast (rapido) pace. Stretched and split stretched in the morning sunshine (salida del sol) until 8:20 AM (son las ocho veinte). Had a nutty bar, an apple and celery for snacks, fed the apple core and celery to Labrona. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8511 steps, 16.3 inches step length and her symmetry was 61%. Yesterday was the 90th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She enjoyed the visitation. They were late getting home as they stopped by the 99 Cents store in Atwater. Emergency count at 9:00 AM. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: scrambled eggs (huevos rancheros), biscuits with gravy, fries, banana (plantano) and water (aqua). Talked to Doris at 9:40 AM: Doris is well and rested. Her right leg was hurting but she felt better after she used some analgesic on it. I tell her sometimes when we are immobile for a while, our joints gets stiff, so need to move it before we start walking on it. Her next appointment was not due until July, every six months (seis mes). Diana and Christine bought a lot of stuff from the 99 Cents store in Atwater. They had a lot of items not available in Pinole. She asked what I was doing today, I told her: attend and host ACE Classes, catch up on my Class reports and Spanish lessons. Census cunt at 10:00 AM. Showered at 10:30 AM. Took a short nap. Went to the library to work on my Spanish lessons, the lessons felt good as I had to translate to English and annunciate it in Spanish. Back to the unit at 3:15 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count (contar). Dinner menu: roasted beef (carne), mashed potatoes (papas), green beans, bread (pan) and water. ACE Classes – Geography – Italian Cities 5-5:30 PM and Oceanography 2, 6-7 PM (Hosting). Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM (A dormir son las Diaz).
