4/12/2024 Friday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 78 degree F. Started walking at 6:30 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:20 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, muffin, an apple and water.

The morning started out with the dawn sky already on full display, the sky was clear except for a few whiffs of clouds and it was warm, in the 60’s. The analogous colors radiated out from the sun’s path: red, orange, orange, yellow, cream, light blue, blue and dark blue sky. the rabbits were grazing at the edge of the fence as it they were planning for a quick escape. Labrona and her juvenile rabbits were grazing at the edge of the baseball field. As the morning progressed, the sky turned brighter and the analogous colors turned to pastel colors. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the golden sphere brightened the sky and burnt off the sparse clouds and warmed the air. The rabbits stayed on the edge of the field and kept on grazing. Finished walking 6 miles at 8:30 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 12 seconds. Averaged walking times were: 12 minutes and 22 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap (vuelta). Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:20 AM. Cleaned the computer room. Had some nutty bars, celery, chips and apple for snacks. Fed the apple core to Labrona. Checked email form Doris: Doris is well and had a good rest. She walked 7871 steps, 15.2 inches step length an symmetry was 72%. Yester day was her 81st consecutive days of closing the ring. She was disappointed that I did not get the 10% home confinement form the 2nd Chance Act but was happy I will be going out to the half way house on 12/2/2024. I told her I am looking at a program where elderly inmates can spend the last 1/3 of their sentencing in home confinement. I will keep her abreast of the development. I urged her to walk outside as the weather is nice and the inclement weather return tonight. Showered at 9:40 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Dinner was served at 10:20 AM. Dinner menu: fried fish sandwich, rice, beans, pudding and water. Talked to Doris at 10:40 AM: Doris is well and rested he suggested that I call Thomas Johnson about the restitution today. I told her I am looking at the possibility of spending 1/3 of my final sentencing in home confinement but it will need approval by the half way house manager. I will do this when I am in the half way house. In the meantime I will keep talking with the case manager. I told her to walk outside and enjoy the weather. I told her I will call Thomas Johnson today and let her know of the results. Talked to Thomas Johnson and he informed me that the US government will liquidate my stock brokerage and retirement accounts to pay for the restitution. Otherwise they will levy heavy fine on me besides the restitution. I authorized him to proceed but he will unblock the account, so Doris can have access to the Citibank account. GED/ ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Worked on ACE Class reports until 3:30 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Shredded chicken, hot dog bun, pasta, carrots and water. ACE Classes – Customs of the World Mystic Land 5-5:30 PM and US History 1933 – 1945 6-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Completed ACE Class Reports Oceanography 2 and Geography Mystic Land. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a bad day: Doris is well and rested. She walked 7871 steps, 15.2 inches step length and symmetry was 72%. yesterday was the 82nd day she closed the ring on her iPhone. Walked 6 miles and split stretched. Attended ACE Classes. GED/ ESL Tutoring. Completed 2 ACE Class Reports. Bad phone call with Thomas Johnson, my attorney.
