I’ve been sentenced to 78 months in the federal prison. I’m working on my 4th year in. During this time of my incarceration, I have remained shot-free and taken the liberty of giving my life over to God. I am dedicated to showing others that a life of change is possible through the transforming power of Jesus Christ. I no longer involve myself in prison politics and have completely walked away from being an active gang member. My wife Dawn and I are both on this journey together, she has been my backbone through this and has shown me that there are good people in the world, she is also the person who led me back to Yahweh. I’m forever thankful. I’ve taken a lot of your classes on Edovo, Mastermind, Straight-A Guide to success and many more Mr. Santos. I’ve enrolled in the Brave program and am currently halfway through right now. I am also currently taking G.E.D classes and am in ACT classes as well. I have been hired on at Unicor and after obtaining my diploma I plan to earn a trade. I’ve completely accepted responsibility for my past choices and actions and am very aware that I was living a criminal lifestyle simply because I chose to instead of doing the right thing. I’ve been in and out of prison since the age of 18 and am now 33, I am doing everything I can now to make sure that I do not return to the prison system. God willing I will be successful in life, and lead others to Christ. I understand that your assignment is where you are, I’m not living for me, I’m here according to the purpose that He has for me.
