Once again, it has been sometime since I have written. Between working at my Unicor job, eight college courses, teaching a class, my workout programs, and a program here that locks us down regularly, it is not always easy to find time to journal especially when I spend 6 hours a day studying with a lot of that time writing. Nevertheless here I am writing which I usually enjoy doing.
I would like to say that all of my hard work has been paying off. I will be transferred to a low-level facility soon, and I continue to lose time off of my sentence for working hard on lowering my recidivism, which earns time off of a person’s sentence.
I would like to say that at the core of everything for me is the ability to find gratitude in life. Without that my life would lack any real substance. Everyday I’m so grateful for my good health, and the ability to make good decisions (even in here), and especially my good friend’s (without them I would never be on the solid foundation that I am). Speaking of friends, Pamela if you are reading this, I have written you twice, without a response from you. Write back. Sorry for that digression, but good friend’s are hard to find these days, and this person is a good person that has persevered and endured challenging situations. When people make good decisions good things happen to them, and she is an example of this.
So very soon I will be moving on to the next stage getting closer to going home. It has taken a lot of hard work to get to this point and again I am grateful. That’s it. Thank you for allowing me to share!
