Journal Entry: Tiffany Rae Vasquez-09/25/2024-Believe in Yourself

Journal Entry

I believe that I am becoming job ready while starting to build my learning skills from the very point I left off yrs ago, in high school. I can assure you that going back to school and building this discipline was very challenging. I got it down and continuing with any class I can get into as well. When I first arrived in Aliceville despite all the bad things going on around me on a daily basis such as girls overdosing and all these women who were being drug farther down in addiction. I was able to complete trauma in life class, Drug Edu. I have completed four ACE classes Including Job Readiness, building your own business, Seven Habits of success, and Spanish Edict. I have completed hobby craft classes to include crochet, plastic canvas, knitting, and drawing. I am also currently in The V.T. electrical program and want more than anything to finish going to school as far as I can take it when I get out to open an electrical business with sustainable energy. I have had a desire to work in this field for a long time and now got the opportunity to start working on my goal. I tried getting a bachelors degree started while here in Aliceville but was turned down unless I would be paying out of pocket for it. I have completed all this in a month shy of two yrs and will continue taking every opportunity to learn.
