I use every opportunity to learn something and each of those experiences to teach me something that I can add to my personal goal of building my communication skills. I am working to get my attitude in a place of gratitude and to shape every negative situation into a positive one. I am in control of myself and that means that I am also in control of the way I respond to negative stimulus. I am shaping the actions of others by changing the way I respond to them. It is profound and I know that I am learning to communicate better with others in all facets. This will be key in my success as I will need it to begin working toward my success upon release. My stakeholders will want to be sure that this experience didn’t make me a liabilty instead of an asset.
