Day 1514
Today is the start of a new week and a new set of goals to accomplish. This week I will finish reading the book that I am currently reading and then order the next one that I will read. I will be ordering a book about how to secure funding for your start-up. I know that I will need capital to start whatever type of business that I plan on having once I make it to the other side. I know that as a victim-impacted individual that will be the best way for me to get the ball rolling to build toward what I call success. I know that prison in the beginning was supposedly meant to rehabilitate people but what it ended up doing was debilitating people who came home unprepared and returned to prison because the system failed them in a way. They should have come up with their own plan for success and put it in motion as Mr. Santos did. The system needs to truly have programs set up to help prepare victim-impacted people for success. That would be a success in my eyes.
