I have created a business plan for a young man that will be going home this month so that he can have two outlines for the two businesses that he and mother will create upon his release. We have worked together daily in the Library puttin the plan together and vetting that plan with back-ups so that he can maneuver when something changes. The two business ideas are a daquiri shop and a trucking company. He has the resources to create the business as he is a famous rapper and will have a full support system when released from Oakdale FCI in Louisiana. Creating success for someone else will lead to creating those same things for me. I am only working with like minded individuals that are serious about creating success for themselves that are willing to do the work. Those two business plans have bared fruit and now other individuals have sought me out to assist them in creating success for themselves. I have been tutoring people outside of my job as a GED tutor to be better readers and spellers on the weekends in the unit. These guys will remember that I am here for them when they get to the world and begin to implement the things that we have worked on together. I plan to build my resource base by continuing to assist those who seek me out and work with me to create success together. I am working on me as I work with them. I have to research each business idea and create tailor made plans for each idea and that in turn shows me the way that each of these new areas of business work as well. It’s a big learning process that is teaching me as I help others. The value is in the help. I am very glad to help others as long they are willing to do what I am doing to assist them in the process of starting their business journey with them. I will not ask anyone to do anything that I haven’t already done myself. I have started and ran two successful trucking companies. It is alot of hard work to be an entrepreneur. I look forward to seeing these young men be success stories even if they are not a part of this platform I will be able to share the story with you all through my journaling.
