I have set a measurable goal to get my cosmetology license before i get out of prison. the time frame is 5 years before i release, i have all the skills i need to pass the test but i need the hours to get it complete. my future depends on this if i am to be an owner of my own shop. the crisis i have come to see is that i have to wait for my time to be closer to the door to be let in the class my out date is 2045 but i have stayed shot free and have kept this personal goal in the list of applications that i send in every opening they have for class. i have also been able to practice with hair an make-up on down time so i think that’s how i an dealing with it. i am learning what the people want vs what i would like to give to them as far as styles go. this is all relevant to me while i prepare for my release date even if its changed to 3 years from now i would like to be ready for new changes.
