Today I took time to reflect on my accomplishments over the past several months. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made in completing RDAP, maintaining sobriety, and staying focused on building a positive future. Despite the challenges of this journey, I feel a growing sense of resilience and purpose.
I also spent time reviewing the Prison Professors website. The resources there remind me of the importance of staying intentional about my personal growth and reentry preparation. The stories and guidance encourage me to continue making productive use of my time and to stay focused on building a life of integrity and contribution.
In addition, I’ve started reading Lies My Teacher Told Me. The book is giving me new perspectives on history and how our understanding of the past shapes our beliefs and actions today. It’s pushing me to think critically and question assumptions — lessons that feel especially valuable right now as I work toward becoming a better version of myself.
