Today’s Response:

The characteristics of a leader who inspires me and my adjustments towards how I think and live my live, are as follows:

  1. Servant leadership – they realize their responsibility is to create and run teams, companies, departments, families, etc. so that those team members have the opportunity to improve their lives financially, mentally, and spiritually. Being a leader is not about making the most money or having the title, it is a “responsibility” to lead others to be better off in life. It is not about how you can make the most money or live the most wealthy lifestyle.
  2. Anti-political – politics, especially in the United States, has evolved to a corrupt, divisive system by which our country’s so-called “leaders” are elected and how they govern the people and resources they are responsible to govern. As a true leader, I believe aligning yourself with one side or the other of the political system causes you to ignore those you are responsible for who choose to be part of the other side from your side.
  3. Empathy – As true leader recognizes the struggles and different background of everyone and has both empathy and sympathy for those who were raised differently and who have lived life on different paths than themselves. The mold, form, and change their teams to incorporate empathy for ALL team members.
