Answer to Today’s Question:
The American prison system is broken. I would change it completely because it needs a full reset. I would release all non-violent criminals so that the decades long understaffing of BOP staff are in line with inmate to staff ratio. I would make sure that the executives of the BOP themselves serve federal prison time for each occurrence where they do not allocate FSA credits correctly (which is a violation of the law), for not ensuring halfway house capacity as per statutes, and who are keeping inmates in prison longer than they legally should. That would be a good start for this broken, corrupt criminal justice system we have.
