- Learning to adjust every day is in itself an adjustment strategy. If you learn the law, read the current legal newsletters related to criminal justice, then you know that you ARE going to have to adjust in prison because the BOP does NOT follow the law or even follow it’s own policies, procedures, and guidelines. At to that, the ever changing inmate population of people doing things differently, and you have a daily need to learn to adjust, adapt, and deal with the only thing that is consistent in the BOP…..inconsistency!
- A routine prepares you for success because, assuming it’s a good routine, it allows for accomplishment of tasks on a daily basis in a consistent fashion.
- I journal each day and it helps me capture the entire days’ events along with the things I learned from reading all that I read each day, and how they relate to making me a better person that day.
