An audiobook has several benefits over a printed book such as the ability to listen as you drive, workout, walk, do chores, etc. It requires no additional item to carry since you can download to your already-in-possession phone or ipod or computer, whereas a printed book is tangible.
By writing about the details of prison, your experiences with inmates, BOP staff, your family, the outside world, the court system, etc. you can education people about how prison really is and prepare some who about to enter it.
By reading a lot and writing a lot and practicing reading aloud, maybe even write a short story as a practice for regular book or novel, you can develop skills that could earn you an income by using the Audible platform and marketplace.
